Well hello everyone, I havent updated in quite a while, and thought I would do so. And im reply to emma's mypsace comment, yes I am exceptionally fine, and I too am enjoying the wonders of wimbledon. Ive been spenlaruding alot of timat work and I have seen alot of people goto see Pirates of the Carribean 2 ( Yes Natasha, Jo, Ellina, Laura, Matt and Amy) And I have been handing out invitations to my party to all those familar faces!. For those who do not know, I am having an 18th birthday bash at the australian bar in cardiff, Walkabout on Tuesday the 8th of August from 6ish to 11ish, and there will be a buffet there. It is invitation only so you will need an invitation to get in and EVERYONE will be IDd on the door.I am currently trying to get invitations to everyone, so feel free to contact me to arrange some form of invitation distribution.

Well ive only got three exams left, two history ones tomorrow, then the ELL6 on monday, and ill be so glad to get them all out of the way. The English ELL5 was quite good, the bantering question had more specific events and significant meaning. After that exam, no matter how sad the ending of the book was, I felt like punching Stevens, ohwell since he's an abstract character I dont think ill ever get the chance. (unless I go to the next best thing and punch anthony hopkins) I did a bit of reading for history last night and my hardcore revision will start today, oh and I also watched the Chronicles of Narnia, which is hardly revising for history, but anyway.

Ifiok and myself were discussing how we dont have our suits yet, I dont want to pay loads for a suit because I dont think im going to be there for the entire time. I had the strangest dream as a result of watching the chronicles of narnia before going to bed, I dreamt I was walking down the corridor to the exam room, and some teachers were telling me I would have to go the other way round because there was a Griffin blocking the main entrance. Anyway I think I insisted upon seeing the griffin but went around the other side, to find a griffin just sitting next to the exam room. Then I woke up.

After today im going to organise a study timetable for myself, I need some form of schedule otherwise im going to spend most of my time playing bass or on the computer. I've had three exams so far, Othello and the two RE ones. I think I did okay in them all but I'll just have to wait and see. Work last night was incredibly boring and slow, although Daley, Chill and myself mostly stood around talking. When I got home from work justin and nathan were at the cinema so they came home with me, then about 20 minutes after we got home we noticed some smoke coming from down the road and a thick smell of burning rubber. When we walked down the road my friend adam, his girlfriend and some of his mates were all standing outside his house watching this transit van ablaze down at the end of the street. We stood around speculating as to why they firemen couldnt open the back of the van after it was extinguished, then adam became increasingly worried about the presence of the police, as he has 7 marijuana plants clearly visible in his greenhouse/front room. Then we all just went home and never found out what was in the back. Oh and I had a very strange dream last night that in our ELL5 paper, instead of remains of the day, a question about the smurfs came up. I need to get out more.

a quick update

Hello everyone

Just thought id give you an insight into whats been happening in my world. Ive been revising and studying for exams but im worrying about not getting the points for Swansea, but at the same time its motivating me to keep studying and revising. I was having a good day yesterday, I watched the opening ceremony of the world cup and the Germany game at a mates house. Im still getting over some terrible news from home, a friend who I used to talk to and muck about with died of meningococcal last week, and everyone has been really sad. Also another one of my more closer friends has been kept in hostpital after he made a serious attempt on his own life last weekend which is really terrible. Aside from all this im just trying to keep a clear head for exams and to do the best I can. Im really looking forward to university, and I presume everyone else is too.

ill update again sometime next week, goodluck to everyone with your academic endevaours!

Well, I can happily say that ROA evening for me, wasnt a boring uneventful evening. I liked the actual ROA ceremony, and thanks to Tash for kindly sending the picture of James and myself at Emma's 18th to Mrs.Medina. After it some people were going into cardiff, some into ponty, and the rest of us off to the pottery. James and I made a plan which we half stuck to, pottery,bowlplex, club y bont(to see josh's band at 1 am!) then home. After a few drinks at the pottery the two of us headed into ponty to see josh's band (I can remember offering my drunken advice to the bass player during the show in regards to unwanted feedback from the settings on the bass amp, then actually picking the bass up after the official ending of the show with josh).
Then we had a few drinks and a few welsh cakes upstairs then james and I went to the chip shop, then waited for a taxi , james then kindly offered me to stay at his house, then paid £30 to get to bargoed, then heard all about how the driver wanted to buy a kebab shop in bargoed, got to james' house, had two shots of whisky before talking and then going to sleep. I had to goto my showcase firedrill in the morning with a partial hangover (when I say partial it was mostly fatigue I was suffering from) a pink shirt and looking all around rough. Then I went to ASDA for breakfast with some of the showcase staff, ceri, katie, stenner and chill where we talked about parties, partying, and my choice of colour for the ROA evening.

I then walked home in the rain, showered, changed, had about three hours sleep and then went to tashas where I slept that night. Then on sunday I was going with Tash to her newest cousin's christening, which was really nice, and the socialising after was great also. But after all this I was tired, and went home, watched TV and went to sleep. What a weekend.
Today I was planning on gettin a reasonable amount of study done, but ive only just skimmed through all the English ,Re, and History information posters on my wall and made mental notes about dates and quotes etc. I woke up this morning really wanting the new Hitman game for Xbox ( ive actually wanted it for months but today seemed like a good day to get it) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitman_blood_money.

I decided to get a lift with my mum, kim (tashas mum) and my dad to cardiff to exchange some DVDs and games I dont use for cash to buy the game. But because I didnt clarify where they were going in cardiff, I had to go and look and anitques and collectables in West Cardiff with them,, and in that journey I discovered that Allan Fletcher (Dr. Carl Kennedy in Neighbours) was coming to the Walkabout pub in cardiff on Thursday ( tickets 8 pounds in advance 10 on door) and that he and his wife (who is a newreader for a popular Australian channel) had bought my grandma's house ( apparantley she talks about the story all the time!), where I used to stay in when I went to see them. You learn something new everyday.I was then taken to the Cex ( Central Exchange) store where I got £37 for 3 DVDs and 4 games. They didnt have the game in the shop but I knew they had it in ASDA, so when I got home, I rang to see if ASDA was still open and it was, for another 40 minutes, so I walked to ASDA, rang Ash on the way and told her about the whole Allan Fletcher thing and she thought it was hillarious. Anyway I bought the game came home. I have played the other hitman game which is less interactive and I quite enjoyed it ( not the killing the ingenuity of the game). However this new game has better graphics and is way, way ,way more ineractive. It is actually really bad for people who are easily influenced to be playing it. The game is so interactive, every decision as to how you take out targets is up to you, and you can use anything and any means to do so, therefore making you think like the hitman. I never really stopped to look at it like that, this game is really really bad for some people. Im not really influenced by the game, but I can imagine there would be so many people that would. Also upon looking at the wikipedia article to post it here, I ruined the storyline and ending of the game for myself.

Its work work work tomorrow at showcase, I really hope it isnt ridiculously busy.

Hello everyone,

I havent been in school for two days because im ill, ive had a horrid headache and really weird pains in the back of my neck, and im not feeling good in general. Im going to goto school tomorrow, I dont really know why though, the teachers in my subjects arent up to much apart from requesting essays. Ive been sitting around, memorising Remains of the day quotes, themes and significant events in each chapter, and its working. Stevens is a funny guy, funny in a really sad way though. My swansea accomodation pack came today and im really looking forward to university (providing I get the points). The rooms in swansea look great! internet and phone connections and everything come under the cost of the room, and single rooms have ensuite bathrooms (yay no communal bathrooms). And my aunt is taking me to pukkelpop music festival in belgium in august! http://www.pukkelpop.be/.

Well, it seems im quite the LJ whore this week. Ive been attempting to start a strict study routine, but nothing solid as of yet, because im still sorting notes and getting all organised in that department. Im still settling into my new house as there are still boxes everywhere. Showcase have cut my hours so I will have to take the opportunity to study hard, but I cant study or do anything of the sort in school, because school seems pointless at this period in time.

My internet is connected back up tonight, and im going to start looking for a bass tutor and later on after exams, a band or some sort of musical project.

Ill update again probably tomorrow, or if im bored and not studying. tonight.

Hello again,

yet another update on my LJ.It was dead in work last night. My dad dropped me off and there were these 5 11 year old chavtastic kids smoking around the side entrance to showcase, telling me that I cant get in that way, despite the fact I work there and am in full uniform. They were being twats in general and just giving me childish abuse, then the other guy that was working the four hour shift with me turned up in his car and they started giving him the same childish abuse, and told him they "knew where his car was and he better watch out" so we both decided not to let them into the cinema, despite the fact they had paid 5 pounds for tickets. The General Manager has told us there is a zero tolerance policy on abuse to staff in any form, so we stopped them from coming into the cinema, they tried to get back in for an hour, then tried to get a refund but failed miserably. Next time they wont be so disrespectful to showcase staff. I love kicking chav kids out of the cinema, its great. I bought alot of organising and study equipment so ian get into a strict study routine and have all my notes filed and easy to access.

This STD talk is going to be so gay.

Hello everyone,

Just thought Id update my LJ again, to let everyone know whats going on. First of all, I wont have access to the internet at home until monday, so Im going to use the school computers in the meantime. Moving houses, had a good end result, I like the house im living in now, and my room is more private and comfortable than my previous one, and from the second story of my house you can see caerphilly castle and ASDA. It was an upset to move houses as we had to live in a bed and breakfast for 5 days but its the end result that counts and im happy where I am now.

I went for my National Insurance Number interview yesterday in Cardiff, I didnt really know where the job center was but eventually found it. The guy that was inteviewing me was trying to make phatic conversation which was highly irrelevant to proccess of getting an NI number. For example " So whats your marital status? Married or Single? Single? well maybe in a few more years then eh? Im getting married to my beautiful fiancee in a couple of months. Oh she's great." Highly irrelevant. And im sure I didnt need to know that his old college was better than what any other school can offer. Twat.

I got a good pay from showcase today, in contrast to the £4 pay last week. And I am also happy with the mark I got for my history coursework, a high B. But the moderators apparantley can push the marks up by about 6 or 7 so If it is pushed up 6 marks I will have an A. Which would be so great. If I can get another 63 marks in these upcoming history exams I will get a C in history altogether, which is what I am aiming for, as I am aiming for a B in Religious Studies and a B in English ( or possibly higher) which would get me into swansea.

I cant wait for university I shall update again soon!

Well I ve been advised that I should update my LJ again, despite the fact that I already updated a couple of days ago. To start off my rants, University. It is impossible to get more snobbier, or more richer than working as a univeristy lecturer, when you are looking through a personal statement, you can accept or reject anyone you want. For example, If I was the headof a department in university, I would be rich,I would have to lecture less than four times a week,I get all the holidays that the students get, and I would be getting paid extra ridiculous amounts of money to put personal statements that I think suck into the paper shredding machine. I would go through every single personal statement, and if I thought they were pompus, full of themselves, common, or play rugby,I would put their statements in the bin. It would be an awesome career, now I need a university degree to become a lecturer, I just hope I dont come across a lecturer that would be like me, that would not be good.

So moving on to other topics...brett...well Personally I like the guy, he is awesome, but with my girlfriend's point of view and ridiculous idolisation, I beg to differ from my true views. Tash, in all honesty, the brett you have built up in your mind, is quite frankly, a james dean-like asshole who wears aviators and acts like the stud of the farm. He is not.
So the Commonweath games, Wales wins some swimming medals for the first time in 30 years, well sorry, it is actually Australia's help and guidanceand babying that helped you to get that, four of Australia's previous swimming coaches and fitness 'technicians' helped your swimming team to get that far. Also the company that is building Britian's new wembley stadium is Australian, they are paying for it and providing the steel,workers, material. I dont see people stopping and thanking me in the street and quite frankly I think its time they did.

Tom Jones being knighted? Today? Its a good thing the aristocracy isnt the same as it was centuries ago, because right now, everyone would be screaming in terror as Tom Jones, Mick Jagger, and Paul Mcartney got mssacred by French knights on horseback as they try to stun them with their frivolous dance moves and comical vocals (not in regards to paul mcartney) about having sex with prostitutes and demeaning women by thinking they will fall at your feet if you say ' whats up pussycat?' I dont know why Tom Jones was famous in the first place but he got the knighthood over john cleese,and john cleese deserves it more because he is more of a role model. If little children took Tom Jones as a role model, the national rate of contracted STDs would increase by 50%. What did Tom do to deserve a knighthood? Im sure there is someone out there, unrecognised, who is better desrving of one.

Well I guess its time to update my livejournal, I dont visit it regularly, I just dont feel like being an LJ whore at this point in time. Well aside from the U and the E in my resit marks Im quite happy with the results. I got a B in my English resit and a C in one of my history resits, so ive gone up a grade on two modules since my 05 exams. Now its just a matter of getting coursework in that will get me good marks, meeting deadlines, getting into university, and basically sorting out my academic life, but yet again I have lost most of my motivation to do so, it will come back, I just hope its before my coursework is due in. Hour cuts in work have reduced my pay, and excessive taxation is basically the British government stealing my wages as I cant get a rebate until ive lived here for three years and emergency taxing has become a frequent pet hate of mine. I really really want to get into a band, ill play any music as long as its not just heavy screamo music.

Im updating my live journal for tasha. Well ive had a conditional offer from Cardiff University, but they have decided to list me as an overseas student for fee paying purposes, So I have to pay £15,000 per annum, which is quite a considerably large amount compared to what everyone else has to pay. None of hte other universities have done this so I have come to the over dramatic conclusion that cardiff hates me.

I am updating my live journal so that complete and utter strangers can have their viewing pleasure on reading the details of my life at present. First of all hello to all my friends and the people who know me, but to those of you who dont know me, I hate you. I hate you because you go on here trying to look at what other strangers are doing with their lives and half of the crap they post probably isnt true. So if you dont know me, get this clear. I dont want to know you, dont even reply to this if you dont know me, because you are sad and pathetic.

Heres whats happening in my neck of the woods. Ive got a conditional offer from Lampeter university and Swansea have requested an interview but no luck with the others so far. Work has made me realise how much I hate some people. I wish I could just jump over the till and slap some people because they are either too slow in selecting what they want or they are just plain stupid.

The packing on the folder I bought recently had a large warning on the packaging that read : THIS BAG IS NOT A TOY KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND BABIES. I think anyone stupid enough to give a plastic bag to a child or a baby to play with deserves to have the worst possible consequences

Updating my LJ

I now only have two essays to do for history I finished one today. I also have to finish my ethics essay by monday (Medina said she'll be ringing my dad if I dont hand it in) and ive got a philosophy one due on monday aswell. I dont even know what we have to do in the philosophy essay. Mrs.Medina also spoke to me in regards to my 'friends coming over from australia' and that I had told her a little lie. Actually she came to that conclusion I didnt want to tell her she was wrong because lets face it, noone likes to be corrected, so she may have cried or something. Tasha and myself took a one-day road trip to Colwyn Bay in North Wales with Kim and Blanche. We got up at 4 in the morning and left at 5. I was fairly tired for the whole day, and slept for about 10 minutes on the way up. After the two stops and the heated discussions about chico we arrived and I met some of their family, and they are all really nice people. I had a really great time. I found the ghettopoly (ghetto version of monopoly) quite funny also. Now im sitting in the IT room with ash trying to kill some time, and Tash is christmas shopping with her Nan in cardiff, I hope your having a good day Tash regardless of you running into yor two exes.xoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox
